What is Kithul treacle?
Kithul treacle is a traditional Sri Lankan syrup made from the sap of the Kithul palm. It has a deep, caramel-like flavour and is lovely on pancakes, porridge, yoghurt and desserts, in tea and in baking.

9 to 10 inch spoons suit jars and small pans. 12 inch is a good everyday size. 14 to 15 inch suits deeper saucepans, and 18 inch is for large pots.
